Jesus Was White, Not Black

Humiliating White people who happen to stop to hear them preach on the street is a favourite pastime of the Hebrew Israelites. (Screenshot from a Youtube video entitled “Israelites- White man Cries and Accepts his fate according to the Scriptures”)

It is a scene that has played out often on the streets of many large cities in the United States. Now, it is increasingly becoming a common occurrence in the large cities of the United Kingdom. A group of Black men stand in the street, preaching in loud voices what at first appears to be a group of Christian street preachers. But, they are dressed in outlandish costumes, an eclectic mix that echoes Afrofuturism and post-apocalyptic American movies. They always seem to have a Bible verse ready to explain their ideology, or respond to questions. They shout. They use profanities. They are the Black Hebrew Israelites. Their videos are seen by thousands of viewers across the world on YouTube.

They claim that they represent the ancient Twelve Tribes of Israel and have been sent to inform all the other Israelites of their identity ahead of the imminent Second Appearance of Jesus. These Twelve Tribes, after a long history of being enslaved and oppressed by every nation on earth, are today known as African Americans, Hispanics, Caribbeans and Native Americans. Any ethnicity outside these groups cannot claim an Israelite ancestry or identity. In reality, The Black Hebrew Israelites are a latter day manifestation of the Black Jewish movement established by Wentworth A. Matthew, William S. Crowdy etc. There are many religious communities who have adhered to the teachings of the aforementioned Matthew et al, but these new groups distort the Bible to teach racial hate, particularly antisemitism.

These groups of black men going around preaching a false narrative that Jesus Christ was black attempt to prove it by taking verses from the Bible out context, but when examined by comparing scripture with scripture, the bible verses they use don’t even come close to proving it. In this article I will take you through the bible and what it has to say about the ethnicity of the historic and biblical Jesus Christ as well as the race which bred Him. I’m certain that by the time we finish our journey together you will know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus wasn’t black and that the “Jesus was black” narrative is a false one.

You may or may not know that Jesus was a descendant of King David whose lineage is recorded in the book of Matthew as follows –

Matthew 1:1–16 (NKJV): 1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:

2 Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers. 3 Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram. 4 Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon. 5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse, 6 and Jesse begot David the king.
David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah. 7 Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa. 8 Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah. 9 Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah. 10 Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah. 11 Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away to Babylon.

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel. 13 Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor. 14 Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud. 15 Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob. 16 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.

1Sa 16:6  And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him.
1Sa 16:7  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
1Sa 16:8  Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
1Sa 16:9  Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
1Sa 16:10  Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
1Sa 16:11  And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
1Sa 16:12  And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
1Sa 16:13  Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
1Sa 17:42  And when the Philistine (Goliath) looked about, and saw David, he disdained (looked down upon) him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

H122 אָדֹם ‘âdôm aw-dome’ From H119; rosy: – red, ruddy. H119 אָדַם ‘âdam aw-dam’ To show blood (in the face), that is, flush or turn rosy: – be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).

Black skinned people don’t blush and don’t have “rosy skin tones.” Note that “adam” was the first man’s name, as in “Adam” and Eve! Yes, Adam the man created by God was “white” having a “ruddy” or “rosy” complexion. H6703 “white” צַח tsach tsakh From H6705; dazzling, that is, sunny, bright, (figuratively) evident: – clear, dry, plainly, white.
H6705 צָחַח tsâchach tsaw-khakh’ A primitive root; to glare, that is, be dazzling white: – be whiter.

David was not only FAIR of complexion but his countenance was “dazzling white!” This may refer to a brightness that shines on the face of men and women who are filled with the spirit of God like Moses, David, Jesus, many of the prophets, and others. To explore this phenomenon further and for a verse by verse refutation of the false teaching that Jesus was black, go to this page

David had very white complexion and likely RED HAIR. His “ruddy” complexion means that his skin had a “reddish” or pinkish, possibly even orange tint to it, much like the Scottish, Irish, German, Dutch, Swedish, and English peoples have. It’s common for these peoples to have RED hair; Prince Harry of England is a good example with his bright red hair and very white skin. Notice also the “ruddy” or “rosy” blush of his cheeks.

Her Nazarites were purer than snow – נזיר nazir does not always signify a person separated under a religious vow; it sometimes denotes what is chief or eminent. It is applied to Joseph, Gen_49:26.

Blayney therefore translates here, Her Nobles.

“Her nobles were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk;
They were ruddier on the bone than rubies; their veining was the sapphires.”

On which he remarks: – “In the first line the whiteness of their skin is described, and in the second, their flesh;” and as גזר gazar signifies to divide and intersect, as the blue veins do on the surface of the body, these are without doubt intended.

“Milk will most certainly well apply to the whiteness of the skin; the beautiful ruby to the ruddiness of the flesh; and the sapphire, in its clear transcendent purple, to the veins in a fine complexion.”

That’s about as clear a description as one can find in the Bible of white-skinned people whose veins can easily be seen. Conversely, blue veins are much harder to be seen, if at all, on a black or dark skinned person. The Nazarites were men of the Hebrew race set apart by God for special purposes; among them were Samson, Samuel, Joseph, and John the Baptist. You can read all about Samson in the book of Judges 13, 14, 15, and 16, the prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 1:1 through verse 28, and John the Baptist in Luk 1:15.

NOTICE that the Nazarites were OF THE HEBREW RACE. This is critical to our study since the descriptions of them above were that they had WHITE skin and ruddy complexions, just another witness showing that the pure Hebrew race from which JESUS sprang, was WHITE, not black.

While there were half-Hebrews who had darker skin due to intermarriage with foreigners outside of the Hebrew race, as in the case of one of Moses’s wives one of which is thought to have been either Ethiopian or Cushite [1], that union in no way affected the ethnicity of Jesus Christ because He didn’t come from the lineage of Moses, but from the lineage of King David. For more on this go to

Son 5:10  My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. Most scholars agree that Solomon was a type of Jesus Christ, and is here prophetically referring to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. This verse makes a strong case for Jesus Christ being a “white man,” not black. Many people have been led to believe that all Hebrews had or have “dark” skin, but that simply isn’t the case. We assume it’s so because some of the Jewish people have olive skin tone, but some also have “white” skin. The Ashkenazics of European origin have white skin, while the Shephardics of the Mediteranian area have olive or darker toned skin. There has been much written as to why that is, but for the purpose of this study I won’t get into it. You can find out more about it online or in libraries. Some say many of the modern day Jews in Israel aren’t descended from the Hebrews at all but are of Turkish origin from Khazaria.

So, why is it important whether or not we believe that Jesus was black? In today’s climate of extremist groups like Black Lives Matter and the Jesus Was Black anti-white preachers of error, it’s more important than ever. I believe the spirit behind such error is out to rob the white races of their physical and spiritual heritage as descendants of the Hebrews. It’s not a well-known fact perhaps but many of the black race are more prejudiced against whites than whites are of blacks, and this deeply rooted hatred is being fanned more and more right before our eyes. In the news daily, as black people aggressively demand more and more rights even though they’ve been given more than ever before, it’s never enough for them. They constantly scream “injustice” and cry “discrimination” even where none exists. For example, if a white person doesn’t stop to talk to them though they’re a complete stranger, right away, some blacks will accuse the white person of being prejudiced. I’ve had this happen to me on a few ocasions. It’s ridiculous of course, as is the fact that the news media plays it up whenever a black person is shot or assaulted by a white person, but is silent when a white person is assaulted or shot by a black person. More blacks commit crimes than whites do. Don’t take my word for it, go to the Department of Justice website and look at the crime stats re crimes committed by black men before you start ranting and raving that I’m a bigot.

Does injustice happen? Of course, but we’re hearing only one side of the issue lately, the black population isn’t the only one who has experienced injustice at the hands of the authorities (police, courts, etc.). Whites have also suffered injustice at the hands of police and the court system, it really isn’t as one-sided as the extremists would have us believe. Many races, the Armenians, American Indians, and Jews to name just a few, have suffered worse persecution, enslavement, and even genocide, than has the American Negro [2], but those peoples aren’t crying for government handouts and special treatment. Having been mistreated in the past is no excuse for violence, vandalism, looting, and rioting in the present. These extremist’s narrative is UNJUST because it’s slanted to make themselves appear to be innocent victims when oftentimes police have no choice but to use force in order to PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM HARM. Are police supposed to just stand there and do nothing while some crazed person with a knife or gun is running towards them intent on causing them bodily harm? The answer should be obvious. If the crazed person is white and gets shot by police, no one cries foul, but if a black person gets shot the black community immediately cries foul, riots and protests ensue and the newsmedia loves to sensationalize it all by replaying scenes of claimed police brutality over and over for weeks on end. Why? Because the media is paid for by bigshots in corporations that are filled with anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-white racists who would love to see America torn apart and burned to the ground if possible. The scales of Justice are being tipped alright, but not in the way we’re being led to believe.

I predict that if their false narrative isn’t stopped, it won’t be long before society witnesses a full on race war which would be disastrous all around; blacks won’t gain from it like they think. I believe that if they don’t stop accusing the authorities of injustice (where none exists which is not to say that it doesn’t sometimes exist) and stop crying prejudice whenever they don’t get what they want – they will be disliked more than ever. By constantly grumbling about not have “equal access” and “equal rights” when in fact many of them have more rights and access than others do these days, they’re doing themselves no favors.

Am I prejudiced against blacks because I’m just pointing out the other side of racism, the side that few dare talk about in any public forum or venue? No! I don’t do this to fan the flames of racism – far from it! My intention in writing this article was to engender thought and from there, honest dialogue about what’s really happening in the USA. I believe the extremist groups are being promoted, funded, and fueled by some hateful, rich and powerful persons who wish to create chaos. “Order out of Chaos” This term Order out of Chaos, in Latin Ordo ab Chao, is the slogan of the 33rd degree of Freemasonry. Agendas are formulated designed to give the powerful more power. Chaos is created, and media blitzed. Then cries go out for solution. That is, if you can create just the right problem or chaos you will necessarily get an outcry for the kind of solution or order that they wished to have all along.

People, I think that is what’s really happening all across the nation, and all of us, white, black, and every color need to open our eyes! We need to look beneath the surface of things and hear the lies being told us en mass; very little the mainstream media tells us is truthful. We all need to stop competing with one another and stop vying for power over one another. There ARE enough resources in the world that we don’t need to fight over them IF governments of the world would take care of their own people, but sadly many do not, which is why so many are starving and without medical care. So, yes, injustice exists all over the world but turning on one another isn’t the answer. We need to wake up to the fact that hidden powers are just USING us, all of us, to further their secret agenda, which is to destroy America so they can install their New World Order! America is the last bastion of freedom in the world so it’s Constitution must be dissolved for the secret agenda to materialize. ALL Americans must resist their plan and stop allowing themselves to be played for suckers by those who don’t care one iota about their wellbeing or success. They only care about enslaving all of us under their New World Order government (also called the One World Order), and if you think that’s a great idea go read how people were treated under fascists governments run by dictators like Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler and others. People living under those regimes lived through hell on earth.

In closing, I wish black extremists would stop and recall the words of Martin Luther King, whose anti-violence preaching and platform vastly improved the lives of blacks. Rev. King would not have approved of the defacement of property, looting, hate speech against whites, and violence of today’s black movements. It would appear that the black population has forgotten MLK and his successful message and how sad that is, for people of all colors. If black people want to honor that great man’s message and achievements, why don’t they protest peacefully like he did? MLK set an example for all to follow, what a shame that so few do. God rest you Reverend King, may you and your message live in the memory of good men and women everywhere for all time.
